Health resources for African Americans
Oakland, Calif.—African Americans face unique health challenges, such as an increased risk for diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and some forms of cancer. To help our African-American members meet these challenges and live well, we're offering two new health resources.

Our video, Caring for Your Family's Health: A Guide for African Americans, is available to rent or view at the Health Education Department at local medical facilities. The video gives members the information and tools they need to stay healthy in body, mind, and spirit, as well as tips to stay active and eat healthy meals.
