Kaiser Permanente opens second complementary medicine center

Denver, CO – Kaiser Permanente Colorado is pleased to announce the opening of our second Center for Complementary Medicine now seeing clients at the Boulder Medical Offices. The Center for Complementary Medicine opened March 15 and offers a calming, "holistic" clinic that encourages members and patients to relax and enjoy their treatments. Services include acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy and mind-body medicine classes.

A series of Mindfulness Meditation classes begins in April. This stress reduction series will run for six consecutive weeks and is facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker.

The Center for Complementary Medicine is located on the second floor of the Boulder clinic at 2525 13th St. Boulder, CO 80302. Appointments may be made between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Boulder center is one of two complementary medicine centers offered at Kaiser Permanente. The first Center for Complementary Medicine opened at the Smoky Hill Medical Offices in 2003.
