Join us for an open house and dedication ceremony announcing our new Center for Complementary Medicine. Kaiser Permanente Center for Complementary Medicine Services at the Center for Complementary Medicine include acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic care and naturopathy. Naturopathy is the practice of using herbs, homeopathy and nutrition combined with internal medicine training to provide holistic care. "We know our members take advantage of these services outside of the medical office," says physician-in-charge Tracy McCubbin. "By offering them at Kaiser Permanente, we can make these types of alternative medicine treatments part of their comprehensive medical record." Kaiser Permanente, a non-profit organization and largest private health care provider in Colorado, cares for more than 400,000 members in the Denver/Boulder and Colorado Springs areas. In the Denver/Boulder area, care is provided by a coordinated team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, mental health counselors and physical therapists. In Colorado Springs, Kaiser Permanente cares for its members through an affiliated network of community-based physicians and other health care providers.
